Maintenance Person

Job Description:

​

Performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various sites including carpentry, glazier, electrical, plumbing, masonry, painting, grounds maintenance, and masonry tasks; repairs and treats structures such as floors, showers, sinks, walls, roofs, and carpets; cleans debris from roof gutters as necessary; performs minor troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments of locks on doors, cabinets, closets; repairs door hinges; cleans plugged key slots; changes filters on various ventilation units; hooks up and services kitchen appliances; reports mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for action; moves and assists in moving furniture and equipment at various sites, identifies projects requiring the services of a higher skilled crafts person; completes service requests, removes and responds to safety hazards; as part of site support team, assists with special projects periodically as directed; maintains clean, safe, and orderly work sites.

Prep Cook

Job Description:

​

• Assist in the preparation of meals, including but not limited to rinsing and cutting raw food products, following recipes, preparing soups, stocks, sauces, pastas, as well as other menu items

• Set up stations and restock all items needed during the shift

• Inform management of any problems concerning food quality or production control

• Assist in cleaning the kitchen after and between meals

• Follow all Back of the House protocols and policies, including waste management, par levels, etc. •

Adhere to state and local health and safety regulations

• Properly store all food, which must be covered, dated and rotated on a daily basis to ensure proper portion control and quality

• Attend all kitchen employee meetings as required

• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards

• All other related responsibilities assigned by management
