Fishing Report

August 21st t Fishing report

ODFW has stocked Rainbows and Browns according to the 2010 stocking schedule. Water Temps are still a chilly 68 or less and the Rainbows are bitting on flies , lures and floating bait of assorted colors and flavors. Feed in the shallows in the mornings and moving to the deeper water or cover during the day.

The best fishing recently has been still fishing in 25 to 50 feet of water for the trout with Garlic Powerbait, other colors work but garlic is the best, here's a tip, add garlic to any color powerbait and see if it works as the resort can no longer get the garlic flavored bait.

Trolling for Kokannee is the best way to catch them in 25 to 45 feet of water.
